2. Principle

Polarzauber AG places great importance on the protection of personal data. Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation – in particular the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) – and this privacy policy.

3. What data do we process?

• 3.1 Website visit: When you visit this website, technical data is temporarily recorded in server logs: anonymised IP address, browser type and version, operating system, date and time of access, pages visited, HTTP status code. This data is used to ensure technical security.
• 3.2 Contact requests: When you contact us by e-mail, the information provided (name, e-mail address, message) is stored for the purpose of processing your request.
• 3.4 Competitions: When participating in competitions, the following data is processed: first name, last name, e-mail address, optional telephone number, consent to the privacy policy and – separately – optional newsletter consent, participation timestamp.
• 3.5 Exhibitor portal: For the operation of the exhibitor portal: company name, contact person, address, telephone number, e-mail address, user account and login data (no plaintext password), stand information, public stand content, uploaded images, activity information.
• 3.6 Revenue reports: When submitting revenue reports: stand and exhibitor, date, reported gross revenue, payment breakdown, reporting timestamp, submitting user.
• 3.7 PDF daily reports: Exhibitors may upload PDF daily reports with revenue submissions. Processed data: file name and metadata, PDF content, stand assignment, exhibitor assignment, upload timestamp, user. These documents are not publicly accessible.

4. Purposes

Operation of the website, security, provision of user accounts, exhibitor management, event organisation, market stand presentation, revenue reporting, reservation processing, customer communication, newsletter (with registration), competitions, website analysis and improvement, fulfilment of legal obligations.

5. Recipients and processors

• Hosting, database and object storage: Replit, Inc., 650 Castro Street, Suite 120-434, Mountain View, CA 94041, USA. Data is processed in the USA – see Section 6.
• Catering Fondue-Zug: Werkstatt zur Gleistribüne AG receives only reservation-relevant data.

6. Data transfer abroad

The infrastructure (hosting, database, file storage) is operated by Replit, Inc. (USA). The transfer to the USA is based on appropriate safeguards in accordance with FADP Art. 16 et seq. (standard contractual clauses or equivalent protective mechanisms).

7. Analytics tools

Google Analytics: Currently not active. Google Analytics is technically prepared in the code as an optional feature but is only used when a valid measurement ID is configured and the user has given consent. As soon as Google Analytics is activated, this privacy policy must be updated accordingly.

8. Cookies

You can adjust your cookie preferences at any time via the "Cookie settings" button in the footer of this website.

9. Retention periods

• Server logs: according to technical configuration, generally not longer than necessary.
• Contact requests: until the matter is fully resolved.
• Exhibitor portal data, revenue reports, PDF reports: in accordance with the purpose and statutory retention obligations (CO Art. 958f).
• Competition participations: in accordance with the purpose.
• User sessions: 30 days.

10. Your rights

• You have the right to: access, rectification, erasure (where permissible), restriction or objection (where applicable), data portability (where provided by law), withdrawal of consent.

11. Data security

Polarzauber AG implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data processed against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
