2026 opening hours: Non-food market: Sunday to Wednesday: 11.00–21.00; Thursday to Saturday: 11.00–22.00 · Food and takeaway: Sunday to Wednesday: 11.00–22.00; Thursday to Saturday: 11.00–23.00 · Bars, mulled-wine stalls and Baba Noel Atelier: Thursday to Saturday: until 23.30 at the latest · Christmas Eve – 24 December 2026: 11.00–16.00.

Zurich main station is Switzerland's largest transport hub. We recommend arriving by public transport — Polarzauber is right in the station hall.
Several public car parks are available around Zurich main station. Given the central location, we still recommend public transport.
The station hall has step-free access via the main entrances and lifts from the lower level. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available in the station.
Dogs on a leash are welcome. Please note that it can get very crowded at peak times.
Each market stall decides which payment methods it accepts. Debit and credit cards, TWINT, Apple Pay and Google Pay are widely accepted, and many stalls also take cash. At Polarzauber's own drinks stands, on the terrace and in the lounge you can also pay with the Polarzauber Cash Card.
Each stall decides whether it accepts cash, and many do. If you cannot pay cashless, you can get the Polarzauber Cash Card free of charge at the Nordic Bar.
The Polarzauber Cash Card is a free prepaid card with no deposit. You can get it at the Nordic Bar and top it up there with any amount, in cash or by card. It can be used at all Polarzauber drinks stands, on the terrace and in the lounge, but not on the fondue train. Any remaining balance is refunded at the Nordic Bar, on the same day or by 24 December 2026 at the latest.
You can reserve the Parsennbahn Fondue-Express, corporate events and group offers, among others. All reservations run centrally through our booking system.

Yes. We offer dedicated options for groups and corporate events. Reservations are made via our booking system.
Yes. Polarzauber is ideal for corporate events in a festive setting. Group packages are available on the terrace from 30 guests, on the fondue train from 20 guests and in the lounge. The terrace and the lounge can also be hired exclusively; in that case we arrange security staff, charged separately. Apéros from CHF 36 per person incl. VAT. Send requests to events@polarzauber.ch or use our booking system.
The Parsennbahn Fondue-Express is bookable via our booking system — for couples, friends and groups.
